Most schools and parks use traditional aluminum fan backboards for their basketball hoops. It is time to give your players a better opportunity for real basketball playing. The Ruffneck III is the perfect outdoor hoop.
You can have your students or citizens feel like they are playing on a regulation court. The acrylic backboard measures 36" x 54" and is almost like playing with a regulation glass backboard. The acrylic makes it look good and super durable for the years to come.
The nice thing about the Ruffneck III is that it not only looks good and plays well, but it is built to last! The hoop comes with a heavy duty 4 1/2 inch steel pole that is mounted directly into the ground to increase stability. In addition, the backboard is secured by braces that extend from the pole. The design limits shaking during play. Finally, the rim is directly mounted to the pole through the backboard. That way no one will ever damage the rim no matter how hard they dunk the ball. The breakaway rim substantially lowers any risk of bending because of the inbuilt flex action.
