The professional looking hoop offers homeowners an option that will be the envy of the neighborhood. The hoop comes with a 4 x 4 inch steel post that is 50% heavier than any goal of its kind. The pole is designed in one piece, which limits deterioration. Sectional posts are prone to corrosion at the joints, but not with our unique pole system. The pole is black in order to contrast well with the rim and backboard. The backboard sits 36" away from the pole so that the players will have enough room under the hoop. The hoop has optional padding if additional safety is desired. The extension arm is also 4 x 4 steel tubing and makes the hoop more rigid when the players are shooting.
